All our own fabrications go through first-class, in-house manufacturing, installation and modernisation to ensure you have an end product that is extremely durable and reliable.
Manufacturing
Our own fabrications begin their life by being created in-house at our Burscough manufacturing facility, where our highly trained team put together a first-class quality UK made product using only local suppliers and the finest raw materials cut to size and profiles are ordered in for delivery on time. This enables us to ensure the completion and delivery of products at agreed dates for our customers.
We also take pride not just on the fine-tuned manufacturing process but also always have safety at the very forefront of our thinking and will always do our best to ensure minimal risk to both our employees and the end user.
Installation
Once the manufacturing process is complete and relevant safety inspections have been carried out by the team, the product is ready to install. All installation work is overseen and carried out by our own team, ensuring that we control the levels of competency and training of our staff. As part of the installation process, we carry out a full site pack pre-installation for approval from our clients that includes Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Lifting Plans and COSHH Assessments.
All the assessments and documentation is carried out by members of our team who have the relevant knowledge and experience to do so. The installation team will possess IOSH, Neebosh and CHAS certification to name a few. All lifting operations are carefully planned and calculated to ensure the correct lifting machines and accessories are ordered in advance.
Modernisation
We have a very good record of modernising existing equipment to increase the life span and reduce the down time that can occur. Old and obsolete parts of cranes and other lifting equipment will always be replaced for new, ensuring that the overall costs are reduced and kept to a low.
Over the years we have carried out countless hoist changes to existing cranes and also fitted high quality radio control systems and inverter drives to the drive motions which greatly help in reducing gearbox and motor loads.
Our record at re-wiring lifting equipment is also very strong and we always ensure that the equipment is electrically suitable and conforms to modern standards and regulations, making sure the very latest control panels and cabling systems are used.
